AFRICAN SCHOOLS AWARD
The African Schools Awards are dedicated to celebrating and highlighting excellence, innovation, and impact across Africa's diverse educational landscape. These awards are deeply aligned with Agenda 2063 and the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education). We aim to honour schools that are spearheading transformative practices and advancing equity, inclusion, sustainability, and future-readiness within African education systems.
Despite significant strides in enrolment across the continent, UNESCO reports that a concerning 65% of primary school graduates lack basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Furthermore, only 15% of schools currently leverage digital tools for learning. These awards serve as a vital platform to showcase schools that are actively overcoming these challenges through exceptional leadership, innovative approaches, and community-centred strategies.

To complete your award application, each school must submit the following:
Merit Award
All nominees must be affiliated with a recognized school. The school must be registered and participating in the School Summit Africa. The application form must be fully completed with all required details..Honour Award
Applicants may participate individually or as a group. All sections of the form must be accurately completed before submission. Attendance/participation in the program is expected where applicable.
